A.J. Pollock Out 4-8 Weeks - Thumb Injury


The Arizona Diamondbacks will be without OF A.J. Pollock for up to two months, thanks to a left thumb injury.  Pollock's was diving for a ball, that ended up being an inside the park home run for Tyler Saladino.  A.J. had been a top 10 fantasy baseball player among hitters, thanks to 24 XBH (11 HR, 10 2B, 3 3B), 93 total bases and 9 stolen bases.

The last time Pollock played a full season was in 2015, when he hit 20 home runs and scored 111 runs.  Over the last three years, he has played in just 164 games, with 27 home runs and 105 runs scored.
